Job Description:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business
needs and technological solutions within our organization. Your primary responsibility will
be to collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather, analyze, and
document requirements for new projects, process improvements, and system
enhancements. By leveraging your analytical skills, you will identify opportunities for
optimizing workflows and enhancing overall business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering: Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with
stakeholders to elicit and understand business requirements, objectives, and pain
points. Document and prioritize these requirements to provide a clear roadmap for
project implementation.
• Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to
identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Propose streamlined processes
and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis techniques to examine business data and
generate insights. Present findings to stakeholders to support data-driven decisionmaking and strategic planning.
• Use Case Development: Develop detailed use cases, user stories, and functional
specifications that outline the business requirements in a clear and concise manner
for the development and testing teams.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers,
designers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that the proposed solutions align
with business requirements and expectations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and
technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding between both
parties. Facilitate discussions to resolve any conflicts or ambiguities in
requirements.
• Project Management Support: Collaborate with project managers to define project
scope, timeline, and resource requirements. Provide regular updates on project
progress and escalate any potential risks or issues.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in the planning and execution of UAT by
creating test scenarios and coordinating testing efforts with end-users to validate
that the delivered solution meets the defined requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business
requirements, process flows, use cases, and project-related information.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information
Systems, or a related field.
• Experience using tools like Jira for product management
• Worked in Agile projects
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a technologydriven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex
data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction
with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities
and meeting tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant software applications and understanding of software
development processes is advantageous.
• It is good to have fintech or insurance domain experience
